Scarlett Johansson reveals secret about Brie Larson's 'Captain Marvel'

Scarlett Johansson who plays Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies revealed that fans will get to see Captain Marvel in untitled fourth Avenger movie before we get a stand-alone movie.

 

Talking to Vanity Fair about the 10 years of working with Marvel Studios, Johansson said that in the next Avenger movie she gets to see Larson scale the learning curve of carrying a superhero movie on her shoulder.

 

"We have Brie Larson on this film. She's here before shooting the stand-alone Captain Marvel movie so we get to watch her get her feet wet for real," said Johansson.

Brie Larson, the Oscar-winner joined MCU as Carol Denver and Air Force Pilot. Studio head Kevin Feige introduced her as the new superhero at San Diego Comic-Con in 2016.

Original Captain Marvel was a man named Walter Lawson. In the gender-bending iteration of the comic book story, Larson's character takes the baton. Brie Larson was also part of the 'Women of Marvel' photo that went viral

Another give away.

The movie is scheduled to release in 2019. But Larson is already preparing for her role.
