Priyanka Chopra to star in a superhero-based digital film 'We Can Be Heroes'

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set to make her way to the digital world but through movies by starring in a superhero-based film titled 'We Can Be Heroes'.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is having several movies lined up in her kitty. She will next be seen in The Sky Is Pink directed by Shonali Bose in which she stars alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Priyanka also has an Indo-American film based on Big Fat Indian Wedding which she will be producing and starring with Mindy Kaling. Earlier this year, during her appearance on The Ellen Show, PeeCee revealed that will be playing Ma Anand Sheela in her biopic.

Now, Priyanka is all set to enter the world of Netflix with a superhero-based film. Titled We Can Be Heroes, the film is for kids which is being written, directed and produced by the director of the Spy Kids franchise, Robert Rodriguez. Talking about the film, the digital platform described, "The film is about how a group of kids steps up to save the world when aliens abduct all of Earth’s superheroes."

Apart from Priyanka, We Can Be Heroes also stars Christian Slater, YaYa Gosselin, Akira Akbar, Andrew Diaz, Andy Walken, Boyd Holbrook, Hala Finley, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Lotus Blossom, Lyon Daniels, Nathan Blair, Sung Kang, Vivien Lyra Blair, Adriana Barraza, Christopher McDonald and Pedro Pascal in pivotal roles.

Robert's last directorial was Alita: Battle Angel which went on to become one of the hit films of the year. The film had grossed more than $400 million at the global box office.

Currently, Priyanka is accompanying Nick Jonas during the Jonas Brothers' Happiness Begins US Tour. She is the biggest cheerleader for the band.
