Priyanka Chopra's Baywatch to still have a sequel?

Priyanka Chopra's big Hollwood debut has turned out to be a major box office dud globally. While Deepika Padukone's xXx 3 could still earn Rs 37 crore in India and $44 million in US as saving grace, Baywatch has tanked without a trace. 

The film ends on a high. Like many other Holly films, the makers put in a scene between the original and the new Mitch Buchannon. We mean David Hasselhoff from the TV show and Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock who reprised his role in the 2017 film. That scene clearly states that David should star in the sequel to the film, which also was subtle giveaway that the film might have a second part to it. 

Now, the point is with the disastrous performance of Baywatch at the ticket windows, the distributors and producers are going to run into huge losses for sure. Will they be stupid enough to plan a flop film like this into a franchise? We guess not! With PC dying in the end (sorry for the spoiler), her chances of being in the sequel is zero. But the possibility of a Baywatch 2 sounds impossible.
