Black Panther has raced past The Dark Knight and Iron Man to earn the best-aggregated score on Rotten Tomatoes of any live-action superhero film.

The Ryan Coogler-directed film's score is currently at 97%.

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight and Jon Favreau's Iron Man are tied at 94%.

Black Panther shares this position with Pixar's The Incredibles if we are just comparing superhero movies and not live-action format.

The film, starring Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther, Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B Jordon, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Basset, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman, is already a winner at the box office.

During the four-day opening weekend, the Marvel movie is heading for a super-heroic $218 million debut at the US Box office.

Internationally, the movie raked in $169 million according to a report in Variety. And this is only 70% of the market share since the movie is set to open in Russia on February 22, Japan on March 1. The massive market of China will be open for business on March 9 for the film.

Movie's opening weekend has already exceeded the entire run of Guardians of the Galaxy in Hong Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia, The Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.

Black Panther has demolished the record for the largest Presidents Day weekend, blowing past Deadpool's 2016 mark of $152 million. Overall North American moviegoing for the four-day period should hit $300 million -- far above the $278 million mark in 2016, according to comScore.

Chadwick Boseman portrays King T’Challa, ruler of Wakanda, a technologically advanced society, who conflicts with Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger, who intends to take over the throne.

It's received an A+ CinemaScore, the only Marvel film to have done so besides 2012's The Avengers.
