Amy Jackson in a Netflix series!

There are many Indian actors who have made their presence felt in Hollywood and there are also some who have acted in TV series. Now, Amy Jackson is in talks for a web series too. She confirms, “I am in talks for something really exciting, which I can’t talk about, else I will just jinx it. That’s also why I was in Los Angeles. It’s actually a series for Netflix that has interested and excited me.”

She further adds, “The content in not just movies, but also on platforms like Netflix is great. Look at Nicole Kidman in Big Little Lies. That interests me so much. I don’t want to be a star. I just want good films and content, to do something that’s exciting. Games Of Thrones came out of nowhere and made everyone a star there.”

Despite having such offers, Amy feels upset about the digital medium taking over cinema. “It’s also sad that people are watching Netflix and Amazon Prime over movies today. They are taking over and people aren’t going to the cinemas as much anymore. Watching a film in a theatre is a beautiful, real experience. But the content of this series was amazing so that’s why it caught my eye,” she rues.
