Yuvika Choudhary to play Draupadi?

Sources say that Yuvika Choudhary, who shot to fame as Dolly in Om Shanti Om, is likely to play the coveted role of Draupadi in the upcoming mythological serial Mahabharat. Yuvika confirms that she has been offered the role. “But I don’t want to say anything beyond that right now,” she insists. Incidentally, Yuvika is a television discovery having participated in Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj. She then played the pivotal role of Astha in Astitva Ek Kahaani.

That was over a decade ago. After bagging OSO, Yuvika went on to do some forgettable films like Toh Baat Pakki, Naughty @40 and was recently seen in Enemmy. Currently on a break, is she open to doing TV? “If the role is appealing and challenging, I  will definitely consider it. It is a huge medium and if I can balance between my films and TV assignments I will take it up,” she smiles. Well, what better role than Draupadi, the woman who is at the centre of the epic, Mahabharat!
