You won't believe how much Manish Paul charged to host 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9'

Popular celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is all set for another glorious season as its ninth edition is ready to hit the small screen. Manish Paul, who has been associated with the show for four consecutive years will yet again reprise his role as the host of the show. And why not? After all the actor-cum-anchor's hilarious antics and amazing rapport with the judges have been much enjoyed by the viewers.

Now, we hear that Manish Paul has charged a bomb to host the ninth season. According to the Times of India, the actor will be paid a whopping sum of Rs 2.5 crore for hosting the current season of the show. This has made him the highest paid TV anchor cum host on Indian television, if you don't consider the Bollywood superstars who have made their foray into TV already. Reportedly, Manish's four-year-long association with the show made the makers agree for the said sum of money.

The report further added that last year Manish made Rs 1.5 crore for hosting the show. This year, the show is likely to run for over four months. This means Manish will be paid averagely Rs 7 lakh per episode, added TOI.
