Will 'Mission Impossible' with Tom Cruise be an impossible mission for Priyanka Chopra?

Hollywood and Bollywood are both abuzz with reports that Hollywood’s ‘Golden Boy’ Tom Cruise might just be joining forces with Bollywood’s ‘Desi Girl’ Priyanka Chopra in the sixth Mission Impossible installment. Reports indicate that certain parts of the movie might be shot in India, following Cruise’s current shoot for the film in Paris, for which Chopra might hop on board, following up on Rebecca Fergusson as the last female lead in 2015’s Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.

However, all may not be perfect on the board, as the reports indicate that Chopra may not be able to actually take up the role due to prior commitments, reportedly for her ABC show Quantico. “The Mission Impossible team is keen to have Priyanka Chopra on board. But she has her schedule in America to work around. The new season of Quantico is going to begin. Whatever her other commitments, it is doubtful she will say no to Tom Cruise and Mission Impossible,” report multiple websites.
 
All these reports come under speculations regarding the future of Quantico in light of declining ratings and season 2 coming to a close. Also, Chopra has her hands full as she’ll embark on promotions surrounding the release of her first Hollywood venture Baywatch, releasing May 26 and starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Zac Efron. But we think Ethan Hunt acquiring a lady like Alex Parrish on his mission may not be such a bad thing after all.
