Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's marriage was supposed to happen in December. Now, according to latest reports, the wedding has been preponed to June, which also means Sasha's Farzi schedule has gone for a toss. Here's why the couple decided to pre-pone their wedding plans.

Shahid is now busy shooting for Udta Punjab and has clearly instructed the director to wrap it up soon. "Shahid has clearly given Abhishek Chaubey an ultimatum. He wants to wrap up Udta Punjab by May end. He's getting married in June and since it will be a destination wedding, he wants to take off sometime from his schedule for his marriage," informs a source. Abhishek, too has understood Shahid's predicament and has decided to finish Udta Punjab in the next schedule. "The team is wrapping up their first schedule and will go for a few days break before they come back and finish the entire film at a stretch," revealed a source from the sets.

Shahid had plans of getting hitched sometime towards the end of this year. At an awards event, the actor also confirmed the same saying, "Engagement news is false. But whatever you guys have been hearing is somewhat true. I am hopefully getting married by the end of this year," Shahid had said. But what caused the sudden change in his plans? Reveals a source, "Both the families have been under much public scrutiny ever since the news broke out. The families don't want the couple to extend their courtship and wants them to settle down as soon as possible. Hence, the marriage has been pre-poned by around six months."

Also, after the news came out in the papers, Mira has been facing a lot of question-answer sessions with everyone. Mira even went ahead and deleted some friends from her social accounts and closed her personal accounts after the press reported about her biography. Mira's family too did not like the extensive press coverage surrounding her wedding with Shahid and have always kept a low profile.

Now that the couple have finally decided to tie the knot in June this year, we feel it's about time that Mira and Shahid pose for the shutterbugs together!
