Why Katappa killed Baahubali: THIS scene from the Baahubali 2 trailer might just answer our question!

Baahubali 2 trailer just released and like we had all expected, it does address the one question that has kept fans on their toes. Like most American thrillers, the first part of the franchise ended with a huge cliff hanger, an answer that the audience has been waiting for all these 18 months. 

The major countdown to Baahubali: the Conlusion has finally begun. The film releases this April 28. But much before that, here are 3 scenes from the trailer that clearly gives us a hint of what might have conspired between Baahubali and Katappa. 

Why did Katappa kill Baahubali? Or did he, actually? The answer lies in the trailer itself. If you closely watch the trailer, there's a particular scene where Baahubali tells Katappa that no one can kill him till he's there. Soon, the 'cliffhanger' shot of Katappa killing Baahubali is shown and it's only towards the end of the 2 minutes 20 seconds long promo that they suddenly show Baahubali sitting up with the sword. The setting and the scene, exactly the same as the cliffhanger scene.

Now, this got us thinking. And we have this brilliant theory which might or might not be the case. But then, there's no tax to at least guessing. So here's what we feel.

Maybe, Baahubali himself asked Katappa to kill him. That also sums up the shot where we can see him sitting with the sword. Given that Katappa will only follow orders of the ruling king, this only makes all the more sense.
