Bebo clearly isn't willing to promote her film on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Is Shahid to be blameD?
Recently, we told you how there's a possibility of Shahid Kapoor and his ex Kareena Kapoor Khan coming together once again on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, given that the marketing team decided to promote Bajrangi Bhaijaan on the show. Now we hear that neither Salman Khan nor Bebo will be seen promoting BB on JDJ 8. Is Shahid Kapoor the reason?
Salman Khan is presenting his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan to the audiences with gusto. The film holds a very special place in Salman’s heart as his character is closely related to his off screen personality. Salman Khan has chosen the General Entertainment Channel space as a medium to connect to the masses.
Salman will be making a lot of appearances in fiction as well as nonfiction shows which are aired on the small screen. Salman feels it is the best medium to connect with his audiences on a daily basis. In addition, he feels these shows are highly entertaining both for the viewers and himself. He therefore regards the Television as the most suitable portal for communicating with his fans.
Salman is to be appearing on TV every 2 days and he plans to carpet bomb a large number of shows presenting his latest venture in style. Salman is to be seen in Nonfiction shows like Indian Idol Junior, Dance India Dance and Comedy Nights with Kapil. He will also be seen in Fiction shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Qubool Hai and Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah.
The Star Network will also do a roadblock across all their channels on Friday during the the evening at Prime time with the song 'Aaj ki Party'. Amidst all this, there's one show which the makers have given a skip- Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Salman who was the host for Bigg Boss, under the same channel has clearly said that he won't be taking the show up in its ninth season. But there's no bad blood between the channel and the hero. Else, CNWK would also not have Salman gracing the show.
The story is something else. A source close to the team told us, "Kareena has already given her dates to R Balki and will soon start her next film with Arjun Kapoor. She did not have time. Moreover, she does not want to unnecessarily give rise to speculations and stories again by going on Jhalak. She wants to avoid the sticky situation of being with Shahid. Salman, on the other hand will be too tied up as the film releases in about two weeks and hence has limited his small screen visits to only few GEC shows."
