Who will play the villain in Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi' starring Salman Khan?

Among a flurry of names being tossed out, an insider source revealed to a leading daily that Karan has already signed someone to play the main villain in his magnum opus- Shuddhi starring Salman Khan. And it is none other than Sanjay Dutt who has bagged the role.

This will be the first film that Sanjay will start shooting for after coming out of jail. Sanju is expected to come out of jail around August this year and Karan Malhotra has taken Salman's dates for Shuddhi already. The filmmaker has planned to start shooting for the film in July-August and are still looking for a younger heroine to play the leading lady.

This will be the second time Sanjay will play the role of an antagonist in Karan's film. Previously, he also played the role of Kancha Cheena in Karan's version of Agneepath. Shuddhi will revolve around the three prime characters- the hero (Salman), the heroine (yet to be signed) and the villain (Sanjay Dutt) and is scheduled for a Diwali release next year.
