When Vivek Oberoi met World Bank CEO Kristalina Georgieva!

Actor and philanthropist Vivek Oberoi has always been at the forefront of noble causes and has contributed to the society in his own ways. Adding another feather to his cap, the talented actor recently met World Bank CEO Kristalina Georgieva and discussed several issues related to improving living conditions for Indian families.

Among the issues they addressed with each other included women empowerment and environment including high school education for girl child, women security-sanctity and financial, women empowerment through house ownership, eradication of slums with rehabilitation of dwellers, infrastructure development for city, public sanitation and toilets and controlling air, water pollution in the industrial area.

After the meeting, World Bank CEO tweeted to Vivek Oberoi expressing her gratitude post which #VivekWithWorldBank was trending on Twitter.

Vivek says, “It’s a huge honour to partner with World Bank and interact with such a dignified personality. I’m truly inspired by Kristalina Georgieva’s incredible contribution to humanity.”
