Malayalam director VR Gopalakrishnan found dead at home

Malayalam director and scriptwriter V R Gopalakrishnan was found dead at his home on Monday, reports Malayala Manorama. He lived in Ramanathapuram in Palakkad in Kerala. 

The scriptwriter has worked on many scripts of noted director Priyadarshan. He also turned director and went on to direct films like Kaakkathollayiram, Bharya and Kazhchaykkappuram.

Gopalakrishnan has worked on many of actor Dileep's films as scriptwriter. Films like Ee Parakkum Thalika, Anukudumbam.com and Pilots saw him as scriptwriter.

The director and scriptwriter was settled in Palakkad for over 20 years now. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
