Watch: Trisha's stylish horror act in 'Nayaki'

The pretty actress has chosen a horror-comedy script for the first time and it looks like it's going pay off. Trisha signed on director Govi's Nayaki and the recent trailer of the film shows her in a sizzling new avatar. The movie is going to be released in Tamil and Telugu.

The actress has been quite excited about this project as it is a horror-comedy and gives her an opportunity to showcase a different facet of hers. The heroine-centric project is one of the many good films she has in her kitty at this point.

The Telugu audio launch of the film was held in Hyderabad on April 19. The grand event also saw the trailer of the film being released. The trailer has earned Trisha compliments from the audience and social media has been buzzing about it. 

Comedian Brahmanandam also features in the film and the movie is sure to have a lot of laughs. The movie is set in the 1980s and the actress plays a girl who is in her 20s. 

The songs for the film are by Raghu Kunche while the BGM score is by Sai Karthik. The movie  is produced by Giridhar Mamidipally under the Giridhar Production House banner.
