Sunidhi Chauhan on representing India at the 15th Asian Games in Doha

What song are you performing at the opening ceremony?
I’m singing an English number composed by Vanessa Corish and Paul Begaud who are from Sydney. They contacted my manager who made me listen to their composition and I really liked it. The song is called ‘Reach Out’ and it brings in the spirit of the Asian Games.

Which other countries are performing at the event?
There are three countries performing – India, China and Egypt. Jacky Cheung of China will start the show, after which I will perform for about three-and-a-half minutes followed by Egypt.

What are you looking forward to at the event?
I think it’s a great opportunity and I’m very excited about it. My outfit is black and gold and it will contrast with the white outfits the others will be wearing. The show is on December 1 and I will be off from India on November 29.  So watch out for me!
