Watch: New trailer of 'Black Mass' reveals more terrifying look of Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger

New trailer of Black Mass gives you a better idea of the story of US' notorious gangster James 'Whitey' Bulger. The trailer introduces new characters, there is unrecognisible Johnny Depp, and plenty of Boston accent.

Directed by Scott Cooper of Out of the Furnace, Black Mass boasts cast of Johnny Depp, Joel Edgerton, Kevin Bacon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Adam Scott, Dakota Johnson, Peter Sarsgaard, Julianne Nicholson, Juno Temple, Corey Stoll, and Jesse Plemons.

The new trailer shows how Whitey Bulger (Johnny Depp) became the most feared man in Boston while serving as an FBI informant but then using the same authority to get rid of his competition.

Black Mass will premier at this year's Venice Film Festival. It has also been selected to be part of special presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival. Worldwide release will be on September 18.
