Aptly set to the tune of 'Come Together' by Aerosmith, the first trailer of Justice League showcases the united power of metahumans against a threat of catastrophic proportions.

Bruce Wayne aka Batman and Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman are on a mission to find metahumans because they cannot handle the enemy alone this time. They find Arthur Curry, who is actually Aquaman, tucked away in a small fishing town. Then Wayne finds Barry Allen aka The Flash. a lonely kid who wants to be a part of a superhero clique because he never had any friends. Then comes Victor Stone who has human body parts replaced by metallic/bionic implants, basically a Cyborg.

The ragtag band of supers will fight a threat unknown yet deadlier than what Zod and Doomsday inflicted on Metropolis and Gotham in the previous DC installments.

Superman aka Clark Kent is missing from all the action, as expected. He made his cameo in one promotional poster and now we are stranded here, guessing the ways in which he'lll come back from the "dead". (We all saw the grave shaking at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!)

But to compensate for the Son of Krypton's absence, the makers give us a first glimpse of other characters who will make the DC Universe bigger than it is right now, in the upcoming franchise and standalone movies.

Let's list them all.

Supe is not there but his love interest, Lois Lane gets a full shot. Then we are introduced to Aquaman's lady Mera floating away to do some ass kicking. We also get to see Dr Henry Allen, The Flash's father, imprisoned, possibly under the charges of murdering his wife. The entire Amazonian clan can be seen unleashing their wrath in one shot. Best of all is Commissioner Gordon. He tells Batman, "It's good to see you playing well with others again," as Aquaman appears wearing his bodysuit and carrying his trident. To which Batman replies, "Maybe temporary."

We will see about that, Bruce.

Watch the trailer:

The top-billed cast of Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gald Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher is joined by Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, JK Simmons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielson, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Ciaran Hinds, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League will arrive in theatres on November 17, 2017.
