Disney released the teaser trailer for its live-action film Beauty and the Beast. This is the third animation film to be made into a live action film by Disney, after Cinderella and global hit The Jungle Book.

In the trailer, we see Beast's palace as cobwebs settle on it and floors crack. In the voiceover we hear, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth and Ewan McGregor as Lumiere.

We see Beast as a young boy in portrait with his parents, before being cursed. The camera pans to the enchanted rose given to him by the enchantress, behind which we get a glimpse of Harry Potter star Emma Watson as Belle. Beast must fall in love before the flower withers and the last petal falls on his 21st birthday.
