Find out why the video almost didn't happen.

The Mannequin Challenges done at the White House are becoming more and more impressive with each attempt. First, it was the First Lady Michelle Obama with Cleveland Cavaliers and now it's Ellen DeGeneres with awardees of the 2016 'Medal of Freedom'.
Ellen, along with 21 other artists, athletes, and philanthropists including Tom Hanks, Bill and Melinda Gates, and Michael Jordan, was awarded America's highest civilian honour by outgoing president, Barack Obama.
The chat show host knows a thing or two about hitting social media's viral button. Remember how Twitter went crazy over her 2014 Oscar selfie with Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong'o, Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Kevin Spacey in one frame!

This time, she's done an even better one.
Before getting to the ceremony, Ellen covered the who's who of the industry frozen-in-action for the A-list video.
Ellen's video was a bit grainy. But Tracee Ellis Ross of Black-ish shared a clearer version of the Mannequin Challenge.
The video almost didn't happen because the comedian was close to missing the ceremony as she was denied entry for forgetting her ID.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom recognises meritorious contributions to the national interest of the United States, to its culture or to other significant endeavours, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Ellen got emotional as she accepted the honour.
