The actor’s upcoming movie shares the same title as Hollywood action hero Schwarzenegger’s 1985 hit, and comparisons have already begun.

Actor Vidyut Jamwal will soon be launching the trailer of his upcoming release Commando, which incidentally, shares its name with one of Hollywood’s biggest action hero — Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1985 hit Commando. The film changed the way action films were defined in Hollywood. So, expectations from Vidyut’s film are high.

An industry source, who’s had a sneak peak into Vidyut’s film trailer, could not stop raving about his extraordinary and thrilling Hollywood level action sequences. The source reveals, “Vidyut’s Commando will change the action landscape in India just like what Schwarzenegger’s Commando did in 1985. The action sequences are unlike anything Indian audiences have ever seen — focussed on hand-to-hand contact based combat, free runs and depth jumps, mid-air splits and somersaults, flip punches and impact attacks — to name just a few action led elements — all done without any body doubles or cables by the hot rod.” Vidyut’s character is that of a special agent which was also incidentally what Arnold essayed in the Hollywood hit which showcased action that was extremely hardcore yet natural with a true to life portrayal.
