Vidya Balan's Begum Jaan WON'T release in Pakistan for THIS reason!

Vidya Balan's Begum Jaan trailer has met with some brilliant responses from the audience. The film that revolves around the India - Pakistan partition has Vidya playing the titular role - that of a brothel madam. 

Now, we hear the film won't see a release in Pakistan. Since the movie is based around the Partition, it necessarily involves a lot of harsh truths about the incident. Mahesh Bhatt was extremely confident about he film releasing in Pakistan because of his friendly relationship with the neighbouring country.

Bhatt saab had written to the Pakistan government to allow the release of Begum Jaan but he still has not gone any response. Pakistan has always been a little caged about films that portray or even have a hint of negative element against their country, even if it's true. So we are not surprised.

Especially with the current politically hostile situation between the two countries, banning a film like Begum Jaan there doesn't really shock anyone.
