'Uttaran' to go off air?

Buzz is that the long-runing serial Uttaran is likely to go off air in a couple of months. The serial that has been on air for almost five years has gone through several twists and turns, including leaps, double roles, etc. “The storyline has been stretched and they are now running out of steam. With actors also no longer upbeat about the serial, the makers are planning to bring it to a logical end soon,” informs a source.  Also, the contracts of most of the actors are due for renewal and the makers are hedging and hawing over it, says an insider. “It could be because they are contemplating on when they should end it,” the source ads. Meanwhile, news is that the channel is readying two news shows to replace Bigg Boss when it goes off air early next year.
