Trailer trauma: Neither the Bachchans nor Katrina Kaif is interested in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'

There is a lot of speculation about why Amitabh Bachchan, who is very active on social media and praises almost every trailer he watches, has not said a word about Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring his bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan too tweeted just once when the teaser released. There are rumours that the Bachchan family is displeased with the intimate scenes in the trailer between Aishwarya and Ranbir Kapoor. But that’s silly no? Because she did Dhoom 2 after her wedding and in that she had a liplock with Hrithik Roshan.

Says a source, “Bachchans are a progressive family and they are all actors. They know that actors have to do whatever a character shows, certain scenes, like the one which Ash licking off cream from Ranbir’s jaw and the other where he is urging her to allow him to put his hand under her dress, they feel have been used in the trailer just to create excitement for the film, but it was not really needed in the trailer.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s ex Katrina Kaif has not seen Ae Dil Hai Mushki trailer yet. A teaser, the song Bulleya and a trailer has been released, but the actress has seen none of them. While Katrina has told her friends she hasn’t had time, a source tells us, “She now wants to forget everything connected to Ranbir as she feels watching the promo or songs will again bring up painful memories for her. She has moved on, looking at starting her career with new films and doesn’t want the breakup to haunt her anymore.”
