Title do, iPhone lo! Whoever gives the title for Sanjay Dutt's biopic gets iPhone 7 Plus

While most people run to the producers’ associations or wrack their writer’s brains to hunt for an apt title for their films, Rajkumar Hirani has come up with a novel idea to do the same. He is offering an Apple 256GB iPhone 7 Plus costing Rs 92,000 to anybody in his team who comes up with the perfect title for his biopic on Sanjay Dutt starring Ranbir Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna, Vicky Kaushal, and Sonam Kapoor.

A novel idea

Says a source, “Raju appears to have hit a roadblock on the title. The film begins shooting from January and it doesn’t have a name! So now he has hit upon a novel idea to get an interesting title. After discussing with his creative team, he has suggested a competition that is open for all the departments in his office, which includes the actors, too.”

The best title wins

So how does the competition work? Adds the source, “There is a box in his office where everyone is putting in their suggestions along with their names and the box will be opened in January and the title will be chosen. The person with the best title will get the the most expensive iPhone around. Everyone is qualified to enter and participate in the competition right from Ranbir and Sonam to the junior-most assistant director and lightman.”

Buzz is that the Sanjay Dutt biopic has been tentatively titled Dutt, for the time-being. Till the time Hirani gets a suitable title for it, the cast and crew will refer to the film with this title.
