One of the most good-looking actors across the several decades of Bollywood-Kabir Bedi (70) got married to his long-time partner Parveen Dusanj (42). However, this is not the first time, Bedi has entered into a marriage. Having been through three divorces, Bedi has managed to maintain a healthy relationship with all of his earlier wives.

In an interview to a daily, Kabir mentioned that, "Relationships are as unique as the two people involved in them. Only those two people know what works best for their relationship as the dynamics of every relationship are unique; and truly it's nobody else's business. But then there are certain expectations that people have, which are largely conditioned by the society we grow in and its value system. It's good to that extent but if people's concern goes beyond that, it spells trouble. Whether people choose to have same sex relationships or relationships outside the marriage - whatever happens between two consenting adults should be purely their business, not the state's or the society's."

Kabir was earlier married to model-turned-Odissi dancer, Protima Bedi, with whom he bore two children Pooja and Siddharth. Pooja Bedi has been a popular actress on TV and had become famous for her stint in the super hit film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander.  His son Siddharth, was suffering from Schizophrenia, and had committed suicide at the age of 26 when was studying abroad.

Kabir Bedi however maintained that though every relationship comes with its own shelf life, he has kept the mutual respect in each of them. While speaking on fulfilling responsibilities, Kabir said, "Also, moving forward, during and after the breakup, the responsibilities of the relationship should be fulfilled from both the sides.  I've always fulfilled my economic responsibilities in every relationship of mine - even if it meant starting all over again for me. I've given away most of my tangible assets, every time I departed in a relationship. After my divorce with Susan Humphreys, not only did I give half of my belongings to her, but also, I shouldered my responsibility of child support and alimony etc," he reportedly said.

However speaking on separations, Kabir Bedi said that there is nothing like painless partings."No matter how enlightened the individuals involved in a relationship are, parting ways is always painful. There's always anger, bitterness and recrimination, but your honest efforts are always respected in retrospect, once the anger fades away. And that's why all my ex-wives have been good friends of mine", he mentioned in the same interview.

Bedi had faced problems with his daughter Pooja over a property issue. Pooja also allegedly kept reservations against Parveen Duhanj and has maintained distance from her father. However, Kabir believes he has never failed from doing what is right. On his 70th birthday, Kabir had said, "Welcome to my annual 70th birthday I have always said anybody in this business who survives 25 years or more deserves an Oscar for survival so I am an Oscocanadian in that sense,” as reported by Indian Express.

We wish every luck for the newly-wed couple.
