The talented director who's debut film had Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur in the lead, proved his mettle as a director and truly has a keen sense of potentially making his actors spin some magic on screen. Having worked with Irrfan Khan, who's known globally today as an iconic actor who's mere screen presence is praised across got a chance to direct the talented Rampling who's know for her work in the European Art house films having won several awards for it.

Now having one after the other worked with some of the most gifted actors, Ritesh explains how both Khan and Rampling in fact have more in common than just being good actors. Ritesh said, "Both Irrfan  and Charlotte have very similar ways of working. Irrfan would always read a book to research on his character which is related to the movie and similarly Charlotte would always find her own way to immerse herself into the movie and tries to find what the director wants".
