The King rules! Shah Rukh Khan is India's highest paid actor

Shah Rukh Khan is back with a bang in the list of highest paid actors by Forbes. SRK has bagged the 8th spot, sharing it with Robert Downey Jr with earnings of $ 33 million last year. This also makes him India's highest paid actor. 

As per the magazine, "Khan continues to rule Bollywood’s box office with the lead role in hit Dilwale and many others, earning multimillion-dollar upfront fees and a cut of the back-end for his efforts. He also cashes in on endorsement deals for dozens of brands most Americans have likely never heard of." 

Coming close is Akshay Kumar who is a spot behind Shah Rukh, at number 10 with $ 31.5 million earnings. Salman Khan is at number 14 while Amitabh Bachchan is at the 18th spot. The top spot is occupied by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson with an estimated earnings of $ 64.5 million.
