Telugu remake of 'Premam' to star Shruti Haasan with Naga Chaitanya?

Malayalam superhit Premam, starring Nivin Pauly, is being remade in Telugu. Reports have said that Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has been signed on for the film.

Now, it looks like Shruti Haasan may be signed on as one of the leading ladies. The other two actresses in the film are Amyra Dastur and Anupama Parameswaran, according to the industry grapevine.

Reports say that the title of the film in Telugu is Majnu. The movie is likely to go on floors early 2016 and will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

Alphonse Putharen directed Premam. The film shows a young man in three stages of life where he meets three different women. This movie is most highly acclaimed Malayalam films in recent times and is still running successfully in theatres three months post release.
