Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda hospitalized, Here’s why

When sensational Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda decided to give himself a break from the hectic film schedules of Dear Comrade and director Kranthi Madhav’s untitled next, little did he know that he would fall sick soon after. Apparently, the Arjun Reddy star unexpectedly fell ill post that and had to be admitted to the hospital on Wednesday.

It is learnt that the actor who has been working round the clock for a while now, felt extremely exhausted and decided to quickly check in to the hospital to ensure things would go in a smooth pace on the sets of his films. He didn’t apparently want to disrupt the schedules of his films and decided to take precautions to get better at the earliest.

Speaking to Hyderabad-based English daily Deccan Chronicle about the same, Vijay Deverakonda shared on a light note, “What a way to celebrate Holi. I was shooting till 6 am on Wednesday morning, when I noticed that I was down with fever. I was beginning to feel very weak, but I wanted to recover quickly, which is why I checked into the hospital for treatment (sic).” 

Ever since the news broke out though, fans of the actor have been sending him best wishes and “get well soon” messages. Vijay is expected to attend the pre-release event of Niharika Konidela’s upcoming film Suryakantham at JRC in Hyderabad as the chief guest on March 23. With this new development, it is to be seen if he will be able to make it.
