Take a look at Radhika Apte with Rajinikanth in 'Kabali'

It was announced last year that the Bollywood actress Radhika Apte would be playing Rajinikanth's wife in an upcoming Tamil film. The talented actress was signed for Pa Ranjith's film Kabali in which Superstar Rajinikanth plays an ageing don. Radhika plays his wife in the film and Tamil actress Dhanshika is set to play the role of Rajinikanth's daughter.

According to reports, major portions of the film Kabali have been shot in Malaysia and Chennai. Rajinikanth's character is said to be based on a real-life don. The actor has played the character of a don numerous times in his career. This film is said to be slightly different from Rajinikanth;'s usual roles as we will not get to hear the usual punch-laden dialogues that are associated with the actor.

The 30-year-old actress, Apte, chooses her films based on the character and this is not the first time she has signed on a Tamil film. Her first Tamil film was actor Karthi's All in All Azhagu Raja in 2013.
