Supermodel Janice Dickinson claimed that the comedian raped her in 1982.

According to Dickinson, the alleged action took place after she met Cosby, now 77, for an acting role on The Cosby Show, reported Ace Showbiz. After the meeting, Cosby allegedly contacted her while she was in rehab. After she was released, he contacted her again when she was in Bali and had a meeting in Lake Tahoe where she performed. He then allegedly gave her red wine.

"The next morning I woke up, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man," she said. Dickinson additionally said she was going to mention it in her 2002's autobiography No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel but Cosby's camp pressured her and her publisher not to do it.

The assault allegations against Cosby resurfaced in September after comedian Hannibal Buress mentioned it during his shows. Since then, Barbara Bowman who claimed that she was a victim of the alleged assault in 1980s shared her side of the story in an op-ed published on the Washington Post.

Another woman, Joan Tarshis, later said that she was also assaulted by Cosby in 1969 when she was 19. Cosby has denied the sexual assault allegations.

"Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment," his representative John P Schmitt said.
