Sonu Sood wants to give Jackie Chan a grand welcome

Sonu Sood is all set to launch the digital theatrical trailer of his most ambitious project Kung Fu Yoga mainlining Jackie Chan, today. Sonu reveals that Jackie is also looking into the creative aspect of the film at every stage, “Jackie, director Stanley Tong and I always take the creative call collectively. Moreover, Jackie gets closely involved in his films and is making sure that this film hits the bull’s eye at the box-office both, in India and China,”  he says.

The February 3 release date was chosen specially to avert the clash with Raees and Kaabil. “We are coming nine days after the Republic Day release, which will be a sufficient gap after Raees and Kaabil. We want Jackie Chan followers to catch up with the film in a big way,” he says.

Sonu is also looking forward to hosting Jackie Chan in India later this month, “He is a very humble and grounded co-star and we have developed a great rapport with each other over a period of time. I want to give him a grand welcome when he comes down to India,” he says.
