Deepika Padukone’s My Choice video is suffering severe flak from the society. So much that both men and women are bashing the actress for featuring in such a feminist movie that promotes adultery, cheating, disloyalty and anything but women empowerment. Sonam Kapoor is known for keeping quite a close watch on DP (pun intended). So in her recent media interaction, the Khoobsurat actress was asked to comment on DP’s ‘feminist video.’ To which, the leggy lass gave outright sarcasm saying “I don’t have to make a video to voice my opinions.” Yes, she starts there…

Talking in detail about what she believes feminism is, Sonam said, “Elitist women have always had wrong ideas about feminism. They think male-bashing… hating men…makes you a true feminist. I don’t have to make a video to voice my opinions. My actions have always spoken louder than my words. I’m proud to be a woman and I respect my independence. I’m never afraid to give my opinion on any matter. That’s what feminism is about.”

Well, she does make a sensible point there but all in the sense that disapproves of Deepika Padukone and her male-bashing idea. However, Sonam isn’t the only actress raging against DP’s video. Sonakshi Sinha too had opposed saying, “Women empowerment is not about what clothes you wear and who you want to have sex with and stuff like that.
