'Sharknado 3' promises an epic showndown in new trailer

The new teaser for Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! has been unveiled. After devouring Los Angeles in 2013 and New York in 2014, Sharknados are now storming Washington DC and several other US cities in the ultimate act of destruction, reported Digital Spy.

Humanity's very survival is in the hands of Fin Shepard, who has somehow developed an ability to sense when Sharknados are forming. By his side in this epic showdown are his chainsaw-swinging wife April (Tara Reid), trusty sidekick Nova (Cassie Scerbo) and even his father Gil (David Hasselhoff).

The foursome also have the full backing of the US president (Mark Cuban) and his vice president (Ann Coulter).

This year's Sharknado will also feature cameos from the likes of Bo Derek, Jerry Springer, Kim Richards, Chris Jericho, Kendra Wilkinson and Frankie Muniz.

Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! airs on July 22 on Syfy in the US.
