Shah Rukh Khan to start shooting for 'Raees' from March 28, film to release in Eid 2016!

Shah Rukh Khan is one busy actor. Apart from Maneesh Sharma’s Fan, the superstar has two big projects under his belt – Rohit Shetty’s next and Rahul Dholakia’s Raees. While King Khan is currently busy with Fan, he will start working on Raees from this month end. However, the makers will shoot a major chunk of film in September as SRK has to finish shooting Rohit Shetty’s film reportedly titled Dilwale co-starring Varun Dhawan. Well, Raees was announced almost two years back and was to roll in November last year. But the film got delayed because of Shah Rukh’s choc-o-block schedule.

While talking to a leading tabloid, Raees producer Ritesh Sidhwani said, “The shoot will commence from March 28 in Mumbai. We plan to release it on Eid next year.”

Dholakia has decided to shoot the film in old Ahmedabad and Saurashtra. Apart from Gauri Khan’s hubby dearest, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. Initially, Farhan Akhtar was to star in the film alongside SRK but the latter opted out last year because of date issues. The makers then brought on board Nawaz who will play a cop in the film.
