Abhishek Bachchan is often seen in multi-starrers and the actor says he has no problem in being a part of ensemble films.

The 38-year-old actor, who was last seen in Dhoom 3 opposite Aamir Khan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif, said he is very secure as an actor. "Yes, I like doing ensemble films. I don't categorise a film whether it's a solo or a multi-starrer. I feel when an actor is a part of an ensemble film, he makes equal contribution to it. I think you all will be bored of you see only me on-screen because I am a very boring person.

"I feel solo hero film is not an actor's credit, it's a team process. Everybody who works on a film is a part of success of that film... I am very secure as an artiste," Abhishek said.

The Bol Bachchan star will be next seen in Farah Khan's Happy New Year, in which he essays the role of a thief for the first time after playing cops in most of his films. "The experience of being a part of Happy New Year has been very gratifying. It has been a lot of fun. Playing Nandu Bhide is a huge challenge and I hope when you see the film I can convince you with my role. If I can play a cop then I can play the other side of the law as well," he said.

In the musical heist film, Abhishek will be sharing screen space with superstar Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. "Shah Rukh is an elder brother. I know him much before joining the film industry. He is a family to us. He is a brilliant actor and working with him is a great privilege for me," he said.

Also starring Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah in pivotal roles, Happy New Year will hit theatres this Friday.
