Scoop: Karan Singh Grover to turn a singer?

Looks like Karan Singh Grover wants to expand his repertoire. The Hate Story 3 actor wants to pursue singing professionally. The only time fans have got a glimpse of Karan's singing skills was when he serenaded wife Bipasha Basu at their wedding reception. He sung Def Leppard's hit track 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' to his lady love. But now it looks like he's taking it one step further by enrolling in vocal training classes.

A source says, “Karan has been allotting two hours every day to his vocal training and has been attending classes to hone his skills. His close friends and family have been encouraging him to take up music seriously, and he has now started training with a coach. The training comprises of various breathing exercises and exercises to improve his vocal range. It is quite intense and is helping him understand all the details involved in singing and performing.” Apparently the actor is also working on song writing, and plans to record one track soon. Looks like the actor's singing won't just be for his wife's ears.

Karan says, “I am extremely passionate about music. I have been singing since I was a child. My brother and I used to sing together growing up, and my dad played the guitar and sang in college, too. I am currently working on taking my love for music to a professional level.”
