Saying yes to plastic! Cosmetic surgery and how men react

All the women who have been hiding their cosmetic surgeries for fear of putting off men may now breathe easy. A poll by DNA After Hours team asking men if they get put off by women who go through a cosmetic surgery revealed that more and more men are now getting comfortable with the idea of women enhancing their looks.

Out of the 500 male respondents, 51 per cent said that they get turned off when they know that a girl has got work done on her face, while 49 per cent said that they don’t. The difference is as narrow as 2 per cent! In fact, each one of the men who said ‘no’, also said that would get turned on by a woman who has enhanced her face!

Many men though said that they would accept cosmetic surgery done to enhance an ugly looking feature, but they would prefer a girl to keep her natural looks. “If someone was ugly and for that one got it done its fine but if one was decent looking and got it done only to enhance the looks I won’t appreciate it. God and nature has made you the way you are why go against it. Internal beauty counts more,” said Prashant Shah, one of the respondents.

Harshad Karmarkar, another respondent, says, “For me natural beauty means a lot but after the cosmetic surgery if the girl looks more sexy or cute I might get turned on.”
