Sanjay Dutt's jail term extended by four days

After repeated furloughs, the jail administration has extended his jail term by four more days.

Sanjay Dutt and his furloughs have always been the talk of the town. With people questioning the amount of furloughs that the actor is granted and the special treatment being meted out to him because of his celebrity status. Now the jail administration has decided to extend Sanju baba's jail term by four more days.

For repeatedly outstaying his furlough, Sanjay Dutt has had to pay a penalty and the jail administration has taken a strong action against the Munnabhai actor, in accordance with the provisions of the prison manual. Maharashtra home minister confirmed the news, adding that four days would be added to Sanjay's jail term. 

Sanjay has spent over 118 days out of jail from May 2013 to May 2014, either on parole or furlough and it has become a reason for a huge debate that has sparked. The minister also clarified that a departmental enquiry will also be ordered against the prison officials for delay in deciding the extension of the furlough.
