Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is unstoppable after his film Sultan is on a record-breaking spree at the box-office and he is now heading to Marathi cinema to show his acting skills.

Confirming the big news, Salman surprised everyone at the Sultan's success press meet on Friday and made the news of him debuting in a Marathi film official.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star will be seen alongside actor Riteish Deshmukh in the film titled Shivaji.

Speaking at the event, the 50-year-old megastar said, "Yes, I'm doing a Marathi film, Shivaji. I have five-six days work. I have a good role."

Riteish Deshmukh, who is also producing the project, will be seen playing the lead role of Chhatrapati Shivaji in the film.

Directed by Ravi Jadhav, it will revolve around the Indian warrior king Chattarpati Shivaji Maharaj.

Interestingly, Salman is not new to Marathi cinema, as he has already made a cameo in Riteish Deshmukh's Marathi film, Lai Bhaari.

However, Salman's character in the film is not certain yet but he will surely be seen in a sheer Marathi avatar.
