After years of dogding and chasing, Bollywood actor Salman Khan finally appeared on the opening episode of Karan Johar's hit chat show Koffee With Karan 4 on Sunday.

While Salman looked composed and calm, the usually-chatty Karan seemed a bit cowed down in the Dabanng actor's presence.

However, the show was off to a great start as Salman let his guard down.

Not only did he open up about his past relationships with KJo, but also surprised the host when he confessed to being a virgin who sleeps by himself.

"I'm going to save myself for the one that I get married to," the actor told Karan.

Though Salman insisted on being a virgin, we are not sure if we believe him as the star also confessed to lying nowadays.

He even opened up about how he does not like being questioned about his marriage.

"There was a time that I really did want to get married, and then it just didn't work out. It always come so close," he said.

He admitted that wedding cards for him and his former flame Sangeeta Bijlani were printed but it was all called off because she caught him cheating on her.

When asked how he handles exes, the eternal bachelor said, "I try and run away from them. I don't face them…I'm sure by that it would mean you cannot look me in the eye and all. But that's not the point. The point is now you're somewhere else. You have your own life. I don't want that somewhere in somebody else's mind that thought about ex-boyfriend you know."

But he quickly added that there was no running away from Sangeeta Bijlani as she was like family to him.

When Karan asked him how comfortable he is with the current boyfriends of his exes, he quipped, "I thank them for taking good care of them."

While talking about his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman made it clear that the two have resolved their differences now and though they may not be the best of friends, he will always have love and respect for Shah Rukh.

He also expressed his dislike for people who try to score brownie points from him by badmouthing Shah Rukh.

The rapid fire round was the highest point of the show when Salman gave KJo a dose of his own medicine.

During the rapid fire, Karan asked Salman, "If you were forced to have a gay encounter at gunpoint, who would you want to be with?"

In reply, Salman said, "Aisi koi gun bani hi nahi hai. But just to make you feel better, it will be with you."

A stunned Karan didn't know which way to go.

When asked what he would do if he woke up as Katrina Kaif one day, he said that he would think where ranbir Kapoor was.

The show came to a fitting finale with Salman's father joining them in the last segment.
