Salman Khan's 'Kick' sure to cross Shah Rukh Khan's 'Chennai Express' by Wednesday evening

Salman Khan's 'Kick' earned in the range of Rs 1.35 crore on Tuesday taking its total to a humongous Rs 226.45 crore.

With this, the film stands only at a miniscule distance of Rs 25 lacs to cross Shah Rukh Khan's 'Chennai Express'. Shah Rukh's film stands at a lifetime total of Rs 226.70 crore at the box office and is definitely going to lose its third spot by Wednesday evening.

Despite screen crunch due to Akshay Kumar's 'Entertainment', 'Kick' has maintained its steady pace and will look to settle for something around Rs 240-250 crore total lifetime collections.

But as of now, Salman fans will be rejoicing with their superstar thumping arch rival and contemporary SRK's record by the end of the day.
