Salman Khan was at the Jodhpur court today for the arms act case hearing. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was pretty confused when he was quizzed about his caste in the court. We hear that someone in the court prompted to the actor and said, “Muslim”. Now what Salman did next only won him more brownie points and some good press too. We’re sure that his secular answer must have impressed everyone around.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Anupama Bijlani quizzed Salman for the court procedures. He asked the actor his name, father’s name and caste amongst other details, which were to be mentioned in the court’s form. And the actor put some serious thought into his response and said after a brief pause, “Hindu and Muslim”.

It seems that the caste question left the actor a little confused. And we totally understand from where this one is coming. Anybody who knows the actor will also be aware of the fact that Salman Khan and family celebrate both the religions. The actor’s family organises grand Eid parties at their Bandra residence and even bring home Ganesha home during Chaturti.
