It is the era of biopics and the next one on the list is PV Sindhu's, an ace badminton player.  Rumours suggest that the Ram Leela actress has been approached to play the leading role in the film. In an interview with SpotboyE, Sonu Sood said, "We haven't locked yet on who will get into PV Sindhu's shoes. In all probability, the heroine and the director will be finalised and announced around the same time"

Sonu has also produced Tutak Tutak Tutiya and distributed Kung Fu Panda in India. The actor added, "Producing films gives me creative satisfaction. I enjoy it tremendously."

21-year old, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic Silver medal in the Summer Olympics 2016. She is also the second badminton player to ever win an Olympic medal--the first one being Saina Nehwal.

Incidentally, Amole Gupte also finalised a biopic on Saina Nehwal a few days back. Deepika was supposed to play the protagonist in that but it was Shraddha Kapoor who finally took the bait. Whispers suggest that Deepika Padukone may get into PV Sindhu's shoes this time.
