Rs 80 crore 'Rudhramadevi' to release in more than 160 screens in US

This Telugu film is set to release on October 9 in both 2D and 3D worldwide. News reports say that the foreign premieres of Rudhramadevi will be held on October 8. This historical drama will be releasing in more than 160 screens in the United States. 

After Baahubali, this is another historical movie that has been the talk of the town in Tollywood. Anushka Shetty essays the lead role of real-life warrior Queen Rani Rudrama Devi. She took over as Queen at the age of 14 and ruled the Kakathiya Dynasty in 1260 AD. 

Actors Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun appear as Chalukya Veerabhadra and Gona Gannareddy respectively in the film. The movie also stars Nitya Menen, Catherine Tresa, Hamsa Nandini and Prakash Raj. Music maestro Ilayaraaja has composed the music for the film.

Made on a budget of Rs 80 crore, director Gunasekhar’s Rudhramadevi is said to have fabulous visuals. With a run time of 2.45 hours, this film is said to have a 30-minute climax that is truly stunning.
