Robert Downey Jr's 'Marvel'ous welcome for Tom Hiddleston's Instagram debut

British actor Tom Hiddleston has joined photo-video sharing platform, Instagram.

The 35-year-old actor, made his debut by sharing a selfie in character as Loki on the set of Thor: Ragnarok. "He's back!" he captioned the picture.

Hiddleston will return to his role as the maniacal Thor villain in November of next year. The actor is currently filming the project in Australia.

As of now, the "Crimson Peak" star is not following anyone, not even his singer girlfriend Taylor Swift.

But Hiddleston's Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr. had a tongue-in-cheek welcome note for the actor.

Captioned "Join me in welcoming the biggest T. Stark fan of them all to Instagram! @twhiddleston" Downey shared a photo of Hiddleston from Taylor Swift's July 4 party but interpreted the T.S. on his t-shirt as Tony Stark, his character from the Marvel Universe.
