Ranveer Singh: I think I am an overrated actor!

Ranveer Singh is one actor who has managed to make his mark in Bollywood within short span of time. Last year, he did a film like Lootera and proved his versatility as an actor. At the same time, he also did a film like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and showed everyone that he is an entertaining performer as well. Though the talented actor has been appreciated widely in all his films, his talent hasn't been recognized so much at awards function.

So during a recent media interaction when the Bajirao Mastani actor was asked if he feels that he is still underrated, he gave an very interesting reply. "I watch my performances and I hate all of them. I wish I could do better. So the amount of acclaim that I get I am very happy with it. I don't find myself to be underrated if at all I find myself to be overrated."

Ranveer further added, "There is only one performance of mine that I truly love. In fact, one film of mine that I truly love and that's Band Baaja Baaraat. The reason is I find mistakes in every line, I find mistakes in every expression and in everything in my other films. But Band Baaja Baaraat I find very watchable because I know that's just purity. At that time I didn't know anything. I had no clue, I was so raw and that performance is so unadulterated. I didn't know anything about cameras, lighting or sound. So Band Baaja is magic because it's completely liberated of all the technical things that go into making a film. It's just an unadulterated performance."
