Rajinikanth appreciates Atharvaa Murali's 'Kanithan'

The Superstar is in Chennai and is all set to start shooting for Shankar's 2.0 once again. Meanwhile, producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu who is producing Rajinikanth's Kabali decided to show him another film he is producing.

Dhanu is the producer for Atharvaa Maurali's Kanithan, which is releasing on February 26. He decided to hold a special screening of the film at Rajinikanth's residence in Poes Garden.

It is reported that Rajinikanth said it wasn't like a director's first film. Debutante director TK Santhosh was excited and happy to hear this from the big star. The Superstar reportedly also appreciated Atharvaa Maurali's performance and said it was like watching Vijay on screen.

Rajinikanth watches some select films at his residence and the last film he saw was Visaaranai.
