Radhika Apte wants a ‘best short film’ category to be included in Bollywood award ceremonies.

A source close to Radhika says, “She has been working in short films lately. She has been telling anyone willing to listen that short films ought to get their long overdue recognition.” We’re with her on that, given the great content we’ve been seeing put out. Moreover, it will expose such films to a larger, more diverse audience. It will also encourage all kinds of cinema, irrespective of their formats.

However, we can’t help but wonder if there are selfish motives behind this.
